The Folsom Street Fair, Sept 2007, Once_Again

Tim was going over the clauses of the contract: “Now in this one, we disclose the annual festival on the last Sunday of September, for which the street will be closed and the residents won't be permitted to take their cars in or out of the building through out the day. I suggest though -unless you are into leather- to stay away from the area all day!!” Since I was half an hour late for our meeting and I knew he had another engagement to attend, I just laughed and nodded my head to move on.

A couple of weeks later, I did not take Tim’s advice. That Sunday I woke up rather late. From the window of my newly moved-in apartment, I could see a huge crane standing right in the middle of the next street and a few people preparing a stage in the front of it. After a quick shower and a cup of tea, I took my compact camera and went out to see what all the fuss is about...
